Fabio Cavallucci
Fabio Cavallucci has been Director of the Centre for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci in Prato since 2014. He founded and directed from 1990 to 1998 the Contemporary Art Gallery Vero Stoppioni in Santa Sofia di Romagna, his birthplace. From 2001 to 2008 he led the Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art of Trento, where he created the “Work. Art in progress” magazine. He conceived and curated the International Performance Prize (2005-2008) and between 2006 and 2008 he was coordinator of the European Biennial of Contemporary Art “Manifesta 7”, held in Trentino Alto Adige in 2008. In 2010 he was artistic director of the XIV International Biennial of Sculpture of Carrara and the same year he became director of the Centre of Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, for which he worked until 2014.
