Asmaa Ali is an Egyptian gender and development professional who is committed to people empowerment as a foundation for their accessing and enjoyment of their human rights. She believes that every woman in a society counts and that real change cannot take place in a sustainable way unless women potential is fulfilled. She has 16 years experience in social development, gender and human rights in Egypt. She gave support to development projects and programs, many of which had a focus on gender equality, women empowerment and gender-based violence. Currently she’s working as a Project Manager at COSPE for an environmental project (Think in Green).
