Paolo Ciampi (1963) is a Florentine professional journalist and writer. He has been editor and correspondent for several Italian newspapers, including “Il Giornale”, “Il Manifesto” and “Il Tirreno”. He is currently the Director of the Information Agency “Toscana Notizie” of the Tuscany Region. He has published more than 20 books, reflecting his passion for travel literature and historical forgotten figures. Among his most recent publications “L’uomo che ci regalò i numeri. La vita e i viaggi di Leonardo Fibonacci” (2016), “Tre uomini a piedi” (2017) e “I sogni vogliono migrare. Storie di viaggi e di confini da attraversare” (2017).
