Giovanni Simoni

Giovanni Simoni began his career at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, becoming one of the first active supporters of renewable energy in Italy. Simoni has been professionally involved in solar energy since 1973, when he founded the first engineering company in the sector: the "Solar Energy Development" based in London. For some years, SED was the first European company in the solar industry and only dealt with "solar thermal". in 1995 he started his own entrepreneurial activity first in the mobile telecommunications sector and then, with the start of the development of photovoltaics, he founded in 2006 Kenergia with a group of very young engineers. Simoni is also the author of numerous scientific publications and articles in specialized journals.
