Simone Siliani (Florence, 1962) is a journalist, he’s been working in the editorial staff of the magazine "Testimonianze" for years and he is editor of the online magazine "Cultura Commestibile" since 2010. He has a long political experience in public administration, first as a regional councilor of Tuscany ( 1990-1993), then as president of the Regional Council of Tuscany (1993-1995). From 1995 to 2000 he was the regional councilor for institutional reforms, social policies, sport and development cooperation. From 2000 to 2006 he was appointed councilor for culture of the City of Florence. From 2006 to 2011 he collaborated with the Fondazione Finanza Etica, in particular in the organization of Terra Futura. From August 2011 until September 2016 he was a counselor in the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Regional Council of Tuscany. he He is the director of Fondazione Finanza Etica since October 2016.
