Murat Cinar is a Turkish journalist, passionate about photography, cinema, politics. After a brief academic affair in International Finance he arrived in Italy in 2001, first in Siena and then in Turin, where he studied Cinema and Television. He specializes in shooting and editing video, photography and, lately, web marketing. He writes about migration issues in various Italian and Turkish magazines. Currently and occasionally he writes in Turkey for the national magazine KaosGL, for the national newspaper Birgun and for various independent news portals such as Bianet, Sol and Sendika. In Italy he wrote for Il Manifesto and E-il mensile. He is one of the founders of the Glob011 monthly free press and is still working with BabelMed, Prospettive Altre and Pressenza.
