Patrizio Nissirio is a journalist and writer, he is the chief of ANSAmed, the multilingual information service on the Mediterranean of the ANSA agency. He’s a Ph.D. researcher in American Studies and he has published numerous academic essays in Italy, USA and Holland. He has worked as an international correspondent of the agency in Washington, Athens and London. He wrote: “Dettagli americani. Il paese dietro la bandiera” (2002) and bitter “Ouzo amaro. La tragedia greca dalle Olimpiadi al gol di Samaras” (2012), “Una ballata del Mar Egeo” (2016).
